Just to set the record straight, Team White, who ended up on the short end of the stick last year, came out with guns blazing and handed Team Blue a sound thrashing with a tantalizing display of offence in the second period.

After Jason Kotack, the star of the game with a 5 point night, opened the scoring 1 minute and 17 seconds into the first frame, Team White never looked back. Ron Little brought Team Blue back to even just over 2 minutes later but Kotack snatched the lead back 74 seconds after that to round out the scoring in the first period.

Team Blue again clawed back to even the score at 2 with an early goal in the second, but that was the last sniff they had as the onslaught began. With exceptional speed and fortitude, the two speedy forward lines of Team White responded with 5 consecutive goals, as they appeared to be toying with their gob smacked opponents. With the quickness up front and an "experienced" defense and goal tender, Team White then sailed on to an easy 10-6 victory.

Dave Monteith, Ed Kupis, Fred Pletsch: Once again, the post game activities were held at the Blue Lagoon Sports Bar on Lakeshore Blvd. The yarns seem to get bigger every year as the players from as far away as Michigan, Ottawa, London and Barrie swapped old war stories.

Bob Stoddart, who played goal for the Rams from 1967 to 1969 was the most experienced player to play in the game. Julian Smith who coached the Rams in 1951-52 and played for the championship team of 1952-53 was also in attendance as a spectator with his wife Yolanda, but he did not don the blades this year. There were more recent grads playing in this game than in previous years, which picked up the overall tempo of the game considerably.
