The 8th annual Blue & White, Ryerson Rams Hockey Alumni game was held on January 21, 2006 at George Bell Arena in Toronto. Twenty four players, representing 30 years of Ryerson hockey, suited up for the game (see roster below). Team White continued their supremacy in this event with their third victory in as many years over Team Blue.

After Anthony Miele scored for Team White a minute and 41 seconds into the game, it looked as though they may pick up where they left of last year as the first period ended with Team White up 3-1. By the end of the second period however, Team Blue had clawed their way back to level ground and the period ended in a 5-5 tie.
Team Blue scored two goals early in the third period to take a two goal lead into the second half of the frame but their bubble was soon to burst. The lead could have been expanded with several in close opportunities but Carm Ciurleo kept the game within reach for Team White by stopping the Blue squad on the doorstep several times. Jason Kotack started the comeback for Team White by scoring with 5 minutes and 55 seconds left to bring Team White within one. Then the flood gates opened. Two more quick goals by Ian Richardson and Kotack's second of the night put Team White ahead for good. The final nail in the coffin was delivered again by Kotack with 1:46 left to play giving Team White a 9-7 victory.
Kids' Night, Parent Appreciation Night, the Rams Hockey Alumni Game and a Ryerson vs. Queens varsity hockey game were all rolled into one fantastic evening. Between the two hockey games, Ryerson President and Chancellor, Sheldon Levy, presented hockey alumni Frank Sheffield and Anthony Miele with plaques commemorating their contributions to Ryerson Hockey and Ryerson Athletics in general. President Sheldon Levy also dropped the puck to kick off the Rams' game.

The most important part of the evening: THE RAMS DEFEATED QUEENS 5-4 IN OVERTIME!!! This is the third year in a row that the Ryerson Rams have won on Alumni Game Night. Move over Kate Smith.
