$20 a Year Club

With the completion of the new Mattamy Athletic Centre At The Gardens, Ryerson University has made a lasting commitment to the Ryerson Rams Hockey Program.  Alumni support is a key part of any university’s advancement, especially when it comes to funding extra curricular activities like varsity sports.

In 2012, alumni from the 1962-63 hockey team members initiated the $20/Year Fund Raising Club to assist the Ryerson Rams Mens Hockey Program.  Since then over $27,000 has been donated.  We are appealing to former Ryerson Ram hockey players and team personnel to join the club by making a donation.

The objective is to donate $20 per year for each year since you graduated to a maximum of $1000 for a lifetime membership.  For example, if you graduated 10 years ago, you would pay $200 to get you caught up, then $20 per year from now on until you reach $1000.  If you graduated 30 years ago, you would pay $600 to get you caught up and $20 per year from now on until you reach $1000.  If you graduated 50 years ago, you would pay $1000 and you are done because you max out at $1000.

2. RECOGNITION on signage at events and recognition on this website
3. A TAX DEDUCTION  – If you own a company, that’s even better.
