The Gang’s All Here!
The first annual Ryerson Rams Hockey Alumni golf tournament was held on July 8, 2000 at Mill Run Golf and Country Club in Uxbridge, Ontario. The group photo shows all attendees that included hockey Rams spanning over 5 decades. There was a good mix of players from as early as 1966 to current. Boy, did we have fun!.
The winning foursome finished their round with a sizzling score of 50 on the par 59 executive course. Nine birdies and nine pars made up the score for Frank Sheffield, Mike Barrett, George Cowie and Terry Giffen. These former business students are sporting their official Ryerson neck ties, which were won at the prize table. There was one score of 51 and several scores of 52 turned in. |
The Closest-To-The-Pin was won by Tyler Fee and the Longest Drive was won by Reg Sheffield. They are pictured here congratulating each other. Honourable mention for the Longest Drive goes to Mick Mitrovic who drove his ball into the second cut beside the green. Since his ball did not land on the fairway or the green, it did not qualify for the Longest Drive. |
